Nate Huff - Sun-Wed

Nate Huff grew up in Northern Ontario. He was raised in the Baptist church as the son of a Pastor. At Age 14, Nate heard God call him to be "His Child". That fall Nate went back home and began his personal journey with Jesus. Nate pursued higher education and holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Biblical Studies and Theology from Tyndale University. He also holds a Masters of Theological Studies from Tyndale University, Seminary.

While completing his final year in his undergraduate degree, Nate met his wife Samm who was completing her undergraduate degree in psychology, at the time. Following this Nate entered into full time ministry as an Intern pastor in Northern Ontario and in 2021 began serving at Sunnyside Wesleyan Church in Ottawa, as Pastor of Spiritual Formation and Youth ministry. This past June he was recently ordained as a Wesleyan Minister. In the late Summer of 2024 he will begin in a new position at Cornerstone Wesleyan church in North Gower as Pastor of Next Gen Ministries.

Nate is passionate about discipleship and teaching, he loves journeying with others as they explore and deepen their relationship with Christ. Throughout his own walk with God, Nate has been heavily influenced by voices such as C.S. Lewis, N.T. Wright, Eugene Peterson, John Wesley, Skye Jethani, and John Mark Comer, to name a few. Nate is a deep thinker and jumps at any opportunity to engage in a theological discussion. He enjoys a good strong cup of coffee, listening to engaging podcasts, Star Wars and Batman. Nate lives in Ottawa with his wife Samm, dog Oswald and cat Hunter Lewis.
